| After missing the "I Don't Want To Be" intro for three seasons, One Tree Hill has brought it back with a bit of a twist. The season 8 premiere had the original version sung by Gavin Degraw, starting this week there will be a new artist covering the song. On tonight's episode One Tree Hill's own Kate Voegele will be featured. Kate's thoughts on her cover being used, "I'm really stoked they're using mine first. It's a tall order though, Gavin is super talented and the song is artistically complex but so simple. It's like, 'why didn't I think of that?" In the coming weeks expect to here covers performed by musicians such as Aimee Mann, Patrick Stump, and Tegan & Sara.
